This was formerly the blog of The Sandwell Valley Railway which was a G Scale garden railway in West Bromwich, England. I now live in Bromsgrove and I'm building a new garden railway, The Wychbold and Stoke Prior Railway.
Today I've started work on the extension at the top of the garden. This section is highly experimental as I need to widen a single track Cain Howley viaduct to take double track.
So far, so good.
Hopefully I will be able to make more progress tomorrow.
Paxton has arrived.
He will be converted to battery power with radio control and a sound unit. I also intend to cut out the cab windows.
